Weber Marking Systems, a manufacturer and supplier of labels and labeling systems since 1932, has changed its name to Weber Packaging Solutions. The company is based in Arlington Heights, IL, USA.

“Weber Marking Systems has been a leader in industrial product identification for nearly 80 years,” says Glenn Gilly, Weber’s president and CEO. “We were pioneers in marking products with hand printers, and later were forerunners in mechanical labeling machines, label formatting software, computer-based label printers and label applicators, and as manufacturers of pressure sensitive labels.

“We’ve changed our name to Weber Packaging Solutions to better define our present product line as well as clarify the ongoing direction of the company,” he adds. “We remain a private company; this name change simply signals that Weber will continue to be a viable manufacturer and supplier of innovative, packaging-related products.”
